Academic Vita

Ngozi is a 2019 DAAD GSSP PhD Candidate in African History at BIGSAS. She is currently on study leave from the Department of History and Strategic Studies, Alex Ekwueme Federal University in Nigeria, where she has taught history since 2015. Prior to this time, she worked over ten years in the corporate sector for global institutions like Citi Nigeria and the Oxford University Press, UK and as a school administrator for a COBIS (Council of British International Schools) institution in Nigeria. Ngozi also has a strong interest in impacting and improving educational opportunities for young people in Nigeria. Ngozi received her first degree in history from the University of Nigeria and her masters degree in African Studies from the University of Oxford.
