The Cultural and Social Hermeneutics of Death in Morocco
This project examines the way perceptions on death in Morocco are socially and culturally established. It aims at overcoming the dominant stereotypes that equates death to insignificance by advancing the profound social implications that mortality, post-death rituals, media representations of death and “inappropriate” death practices such as euthanasia on the social organizations.
